South Pacific Steel Fabrication Pty Ltd, is a diverse company that has evolved from a marine fabrication background building large transport vessels, barges etc, (Formerly trading as South Pacific Marine) into a manufacturer of structural items to a variety of industrial fields. With the same company directors since its origin in 1988, and with a reputation for excellence in the ship building circle, this company's aim is to maintain its reputation by continuing its practice of HIGH QUALITY service and finishes for all its customers.
Industries Served: These fields include the fabrication of Structural Steel buildings, mining and quarry plant equipment e.g. Screen tower structures, sumps, conveyors etc, truck chassis and assorted components, Aluminum frames and over head signs, Sub Arc pipe welding (up to 3mts Dia) and specialty components for industrial carbon emission towers, Over-rail Signal Gantry's for Queensland Railways, and Bollards and Handrail/Balustrading, Foundation steel work i.e angle iron surrounds for the construction industry. Marine structures. Our services include estimating, tendering, fabrication, sandblasting and protective coating treatments, delivery, and installation of structural steel.

Sub-arc welding and pipe rotating facilities for pipes with over two metres outer diameter.
We have capacity to fabricate up to 200 tonnes of structural steel per week. All our manufacturing operations are undertaken inside our fully enclosed workshops which are 17mt x 64mt and 9mt x 64mt respectively, with dedicated areas for goods receivable, parts preparation, fabrication, welding with overhead crane capacity of 10 tonne and with flow-through access to our main production area, we are ready for any form of metal works.
Situated on a 5 acres of land with a large industrial sand blasting booth, and designated covered paint areas, we are a one-stop shop for all your structural steel needs.
Safety - We dedicate a considerable amount of time, effort, and resources ensuring our workshop and onsite operations are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Health and Safety Act. South Pacific Marine (Aust) Pty Ltd promotes, supports and encourages high standards of safety within our company and the industry.
Quality - We have implemented a quality assurance system which has proven over a long period of time to consistently supply our customers with quality and reliable structural steel that exceeds the industry standard. Our quality system allows us to trace each component from supply through to installation and identifies each employee or company that has contributed towards the manufacture of the product. We have control measures that ensure a quality outcome. Our quality system meets the requirements of ISO 9002 certification however we have not found it necessary to undertake third party certification. Inspection of our quality assurance systems and works is welcome.
Based on the north side of Brisbane with easy access to the Bruce Highway, we maintain the ability for easy access, for the loading of transport e.g. Long or oversize structures, pipes etc.
